The startupiutem on 10.2 needs to be in /Library/Startupitems so from the terminal type:sudo mv /System/Library/Startupitems/WebCatalog /Library/Startupitems then enter you password and reboot .. all should be good after that.In 10.2 Jaguar the /System/Library/Startupitems is reserved for Apple items.
