texte = Just because you are using SSL does not mean your data is protected.SSL only helps to keep the data safe as people try to snoop into the information as it travels through the Internet. i.e. it keeps it safe from people using packet sniffing.If your server ever gets hacked you better have your data encrypted otherwise it will be very easy for said hacker to get credit card information.In 7 years of business my Windows servers have been hacked 5 times, Unix once and Linux once.Now that I'm on the topic of [encrypt] I'd like to hear how some of you guys come up with your seed value. Do you rather a standard value? or base it on some other bit of data from the same record? or from a seed file?
