TCPConnect is a _very_ low level interface; you cannot use it to emulate FTP and I doubt you could use it to emulate even the much simpler Telnet protocol. I would recommend investigating ssh (Secure SHell), which would allow you to connect using ssh to copy the file to the other machine. You will want to create an RSA identity key, so that no password would be required. Then the WebDNA would be trivial [shell]ssh -i identityfile user@othermachine [!] [/!]cp TEST/ONE/1.pdf TEST/TWO/a.pdf[/shell] and the identity file will automatically authenticate to the remote computer.
