texte = Thanks Alain- All normal web functions continue on the machines, except that an operation involving triggers and back/forth communications is not taking place when I have the blocking measures in place (using IPNetSentry and each machine). I am not sure whether the problem is on the sending mach, receiving mach or both. When the blocking is turned off, the operations return to normal. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks, john Alain Russell wrote: > Triggers will only connect on port 80 & 443, they are just an HTTP/S > request. > TCPConnect is specified by you [tcpconnect host=&port=] so probably > only 80 & 443 as well. > > Have you blocked something and WebDNA stopped ? > > > > On 30/10/2003, at 1:18 PM, John Bennett wrote: > >> We're adding further security to our servers by blocking all traffic >> on unauthorized ports, but it seems that webcat may use more than >> ports 443 and 80.
