I can't make any promises about prior-version certification on RH Enterprise at this time ... I want to see the results of the 5.2 testing first to get information on what possible issues might exist and what effort could be required to address them (if any) before I could form a commitment that we could stand behind. Hi, RedHat is stopping support for 7.x and 8.x the end of 2002, and 9.x in April 2004. I like RedHat for the up2date and other support I've been getting. The new common distro for both of my ISPs is 'RH Enterprise ES'. This is fine with me. I know there are lots of good Linux distros out there. I need one that is supported by my ISP's and the distro company. I vote that SmithMicro test WebDNA on RedHat Enterprise and SuSE. What distros are other Linux WebDNA users moving to? SmithMicro support says 'We do not have plans on testing ES at this time'. With 7.x and 8.x support stopping in 6 weeks, when will SmithMicro know what Linux distro they will officially support? Hey Scott, what about RedHat Enterprise? - Jim ps, before anyone says move to OSX, I use OSX for all my WebDNA development, I like to host with Linux. ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
