Try putting the [url] outside the encrypt/decrypt contexts, as in: [replace db=/data/charlotteusers.db&eqUSERIDdatarq=[id]]PASS=[url][encrypt seed=[id]][_pass][/encrypt] [/url][/replace] If that doesn't solve it, try url'ing twice, as in: [replace db=/data/charlotteusers.db&eqUSERIDdatarq=[id]]PASS=[url][encrypt seed=[id]][url][_pass][/url][/encrypt] [/url][/replace] I had a similar problem a couple of years ago and made up a couple of templates that use the url and encrypt contexts in different places and combinations before I got it to work 100% of the time on OS 9. Experiment to see what works on your setup. There's some old, pre-OS X stuff in the archives about this, but it boils down to your OS, platform, and whether or not the info is copied from one db to another.
