Here's the lowdown. marketing_codes.db: urlis code url1 55 url2 44 url3 11 url4 22 url5 66 url6 77 url7 100 capture.db: sku indate mc 1 05/03/2004 55 2 05/04/2004 44 3 05/05/2004 11 4 05/06/2004 22 5 05/07/2004 66 6 05/08/2004 77 7 05/09/2004 100 The relationship is 'code' from the 1st db to 'mc' from the 2nd. I have a form to search capture.db that has a checkbox next to each marketing code (code from 1st db) to search upon the 2nd db with: [search db=marketing_codes.db&necodedatarq=[blank]&ascodesort=1&codetype=num&codesumm=T] [founditems] input name="eqgroup[index]datarq" type="checkbox" class="inputbox" value="[code]"> [code] [/founditems] [/search] So, if they put a checkbox next to code 11 and code 55, then I want it to just returns records with those values from capture.db. It passes what looks like a correct search string with a formvariables, but for debugging purposes, I've hard-coded the search: [search db=capture.db&eqgroup1datarq=11&group1field=mc[!] [/!]&group1type=num&eqgroup2datarq=55&group2field=mc[!] [/!]&group2type=num&asmcsort=2&mctype=num] With the results as posted in my original email: 1 field 'rq' : finds that one marketing code 2 fields 'rq' : finds 0 records 0 fields 'rq' : returns all records Let's see what Rob just sent...
