texte = Here's how to isolate the price: [grep search=.*(£[0-9,\.]*).*&replace=\1][longstring][/grep] I think you need to escape the . with a slash, i.e. \. This is so it is treated as "any character" in regex parlance. This should discard any text that is not the price.
