The trouble is that I constantly upload or download new files via FTP and unix security will not let me now. I assumed it was a preference setting. Any other ideas? The WebCatalog Prefs file in the master WebCatalogEngine folder does indeed have a preference UnixUser apache The SandBoxPrefs file for this sandbox did not have such a setting, so I added it. Still the same result. It is only the databases that are changing their permissions. That is to say, just the .db files, not the .hdr files. The trouble is that I constantly upload or download new files via FTP and unix security will not let me now. I assumed it was a preference setting. Any other ideas?
