texte = not quite. maybe i explained it poorly. page.htm has an embedded main search etc which shows 4 latest articles plus an archive of all other articles by title but on this same page if the link page.htm?article=12345678 gets clicked ths same page gets called BUT with the second embedded search finding that specific article. i thought if I added that referrer code I'd be able to do showif based on whats actually in the link, but same results either way. --- Joe D'Andrea
