texte = I am trying to run a simple shell script through webdna, but have hit a problem right off the top. I cannot seem to execute a simple ping command through shell. I get no information whatsoever; it is as if the ping command is not even executing on the server. The contents on my .tpl page are simply:
[shell]ping -c 10 webbuilders.com[/shell]
The webdna page is returned from the server immediately, faster than the above ping command takes to run from the server, so it doesn't seem to be executing the ping at all. I have substituted the ping command with other commands, such as ls -l and man ping. These commands run as expected. But ping does not. I have verified that the webstar user (which is what webdna runs under) can execute the ping command. It just won't do it through webdna. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
