It occurred via email. Rob and I were in contact with one of the Smith Micro developers, Le Pham. The last email pertaining to this problem contained a new version of the WebDNA plugin. I am not sure if this plugin was ever released by Smith Micro. This plugin shows up in the WebStar Launcher window as version 6.1, but when viewing it via the WebDNA Statistics page in the WebDNA admin, it is listed as version 6.0. If you want a copy of this file, let me know. It might solve your problem.
