If you use the [cart] function, Excel will likely CHANGE a few of the carts by a digit or two (due to internal rounding of a large number)! If I have to edit manually, I only use a text editor. I actually started building a modern, ajax driven db admin tool that is much more powerful than the one built in the 90s. Essentially it does everything you need - create a db, edit a db, remove fields, add fields, add records, remove records, edit records, search, delete db, backup dbs, restore dbs, etc. Also started a query wizard that allows you to build queries visually. I'll try to find some time in the next couple of months to finish this project off. By the way, anyone interested in simplifying your holidays?
