I have just set up a system where the folder containing the =files to bedownloaded is protected with a .htaccess file. This prevents =directdownload but WebDNA can access the folder.
When a user logs in they then can download a file they have =permissionsfor by proxying the file through a WebDNA template (using [returnraw] =andassociated headers). Because the download link is a WebDNA =template youcan use whatever criteria you want to control the download. This =methoddoes away with the need to create/delete temporary folders =etc.
