using showpage and showcart commands

texte = I am just completing the construction of a store with WebMerchant Lite. I have found the docs for both the WebCatalog and WebCommerce somewhat wanting. I cannot figure out what the diffence is between showpage and showcart. I use showcart as the client fills up their shopping cart (scrapbook) and to finally calculate the total of their order. I then move onto the order process and have the client fill out name , shipping and billing info. I want to return this to them for them to confirm all the info and then have them input a credit card number via the secure server. However, I have to use the purchase command to get all that info input. I then return it to them to confirm it and when I try and add more info or change that info, I get the error saying that that shopping cart purchase has already been processed. Can someone help me with when I should be using showcart, showpage, and purchase? The structure is something like this.
