texte = We have done many sites in the past using WebDNA and double byte characters..... WebDNA handles the double byte characters well and does = not hose the raw encoding for each language. I've never had to replace chars within a double byte character language but I would guess you need to = first tell WebDNA what the double byte character looks like as raw encoding = and then replace the characters based on that.
