texte = In light of the unix 1234567890 day.. question for Grant (or other founders) (if you are out there), what was the thinking with using Midnight Jan 1 0000 as the WebDNA epoch rather than the unix standard? I understand that the Unix Epic is (loosely) based on the formation of the latest UTC time standard. I don't claim to understand this at any deep level, but it seems to me that, that in a programmers perspective, it doesn't really matter when the epoch is.. as long as it is just that, an epoch. However, I hear about potential problems with the UNIX epoch.. keeping track of times down to the second before 1970 and after 2038. Anyway,.. seems an appropriate subject on this day.
