texte = We just (Thursday) got the Web Commerce Solution with the intent of switching over to it from our internally scripted and maintained on-line store. We've faced up to the fact that we are better off using a turnkey solution (PCS's) and focusing our efforts on our products rather than how to do the store part. The PCS WCS looks perfect for what we want to do.My question has to do with which version of the PCS software we should be targeting. We want to get hopping right away and have a preliminary version of the new store up and running in a few days. Should we use the 1.6 or the 2.x beta version ?We can't afford to burn customers while debugging either our own stuff or the beta software, so the question is if the beta is solid enough to be put on-line by WCS novices (remember that we are brand new to the WCS even if we've been doing online sales for over a year) ? Our on-line store is our _only_ store, so it is important for us to make a smooth transition :-)Thanks for any insights, -Sven_____________________________________________________________________ Sven U.
