texte = I've been asked to quote a job where I'll be providing CMS for an existing website. I've never stepped into the middle like this, although I have added minor spot editing on a few sites already. I'm wondering if anyone has any advice for what to not overlook; any hidden problems that won't surface until I'm already into knee deep into it.My plan is to use my spot editing tool for the major text areas (it's a database with several fields that may or may not be used depending on the situation.) Then for any obvious database features like event lists or personnel, I'll create a separate db for those. The more I think about it, the easier it sounds, but surely I'm doomed for (yet another) underbid scenario.Any remarks or experiences welcome.Thanks,Terry-- Terry Wilson | terry@terryfic.com | http://terryfic.comhttp://WhosComing.com - a simplified, affordable online reservation systemhttp://TightJacket.com -- stylish protection for your laptop--------------------------------------------------------------------------Attitude is the only difference between ordeal and adventure.
