or you need to use [tcpconnect...] look in the webdna list archives for this.. there have been numerous recent successful examples of people using this to talk to servers (paypal, twitter, etc.) (you know where those webdna list archives are? Look to the bottom of any post.) Look thru the 75 page docs they sent you and see if you can find a PHP example of how to do the right thing.. this can tip us off how to approach it with webdna.. except that in a vacuum the webdna version with be much more succinct code and cause way less head pressure. (But for example if the PHP example they give uses curl, then this is [tcpconnect..] .
