texte = Hello DNA'ers,Hope this is a good one for everyone. Some WebDNA thoughts...I am really liking having a free Dev Edition copyof WebDNA installed on my developmentlaptop. It always starts when the laptopstarts and never gets in the way, butis always there when I want to code somethingor test something. (MacBook Pro / CICADA)Right now I'm having fun with security in WebDNAand will release a widget foreveryones use and/or testing near the starting of theyear. It is a tripple-seed encryptionutility made to store passwords and accountinfo. I will use it locally on my laptopto store all my passwords (150+ !)but it could be installed publiclyas well without worry. (with SSL)Once data is entered, no one exceptEDC, not even a server administrator, wouldbe able to recover the data if thepasswords are lost (you can use either1 or 2 passwords to access the systemdepending on your needs).Anyway, more about that later. :-)Also, I have been working with UTF-8 characterencoding lately.... If you use BBedit, use"UTF-8 (No BOM)" instead of UTF-8. I guessthe plain UTF-8 adds the Byte order marks bydefault which is not compatible with WebDNA...just passing along the info to maybe helpsomeone avoid having to spend time re-encodinga bunch of WebDNA files... :-/What else?? Well, Brian F. passed along a10.5/6x module for apache 2.2x that apparently works onthe G-series mac processors. So, if you need torun CICADA on a G5, let me knowand I'll forward you (or post) his module. (thanks Brian!).Happy new year!Donovan-- Donovan BrookeEuca Design Center[Practical-Ethical-Efficient]www.euca.usegg.bzartglass-forum.com
