Ok found the code that was causing the problem (below). =C2=A0I ha= ve a comma within the 'prefVALUE' for the fourth field - the template chokes on this and causes all databases to be closed. =C2=A0Is it documen= ted anywhere that commas cannot be used in values within WebDNA tables?
What makes this more odd is that the template worked no problem on a Mac. =C2=A0The site was transferred to a Linux box running CentOS an= d WebDNA 6.2 on Friday. =C2=A0The other complication was that this template was being hit by a trigger once a day at 16:05. The trigger was set at the standard retry at ten second intervals and timeout after 30 secs, but it would appear that the trigger just kept hitting the page constantly causing the databases to be constantly closed.
I fixed it by removing the fourth field from the table and then adding it using [append] - someone mentioned this method on the list in the past.

[table]s, so your problem would be similar to having a non-escaped
or char in a flat-file .db, no? Not sure if it helps, but in hindsight it makes sense (to me).
