Take my situation for example:I was upgrading from Debian 5 to 6 and I thought that maybe WebDNA would "just work" if I installed my previous configuration in the newly upgraded system. I was wrong ...I had the correct WebDNA build but Debian 6 uses a new mysql library and WebDNA needs the old one, so it would not start until I installed the old one manually.Unfortunately I did not know this because WebDNA does not report configuration errors in the server's error log. There is a simple Linux command to identify WebDNA configuration errors, but I did not know this at the time.As soon as I finally learned (thanks to Chris) how to generate a list of WebDNA dependencies, it was a simple task to identify and install the missing library. Then WebDNA was finally "up and running" on my new Debian 6 server. So you see, a few tiny little bits of critical information can save literally hours or days of frustration when it comes to issues like these. That's why I hope to create a web page that clarifies this stuff for everyone.Sincerely,Kenneth Grome
