texte = Talk list,I thought I'd report some progress regarding WebDNA Version 6.2.1.After taking a look at things, we decided to begin from a more progressive area in our source repository. This tag includes some significant (and some not so significant) fixes/changes from after the gold CICADA build in 2009. Here is a quick list of a few of the significant changes that are not currently in 6.2 that will be in 6.2.1:-----------------------------------------Dec 6 2009 - Fixed Base64 Encrypt bugDec 6 2009 - Fixed HTTP GET - overwriting contexts (?text= Bug)Oct 18 2009 - Preference Bug Fix for MailAuthUser, MailAuthPasswordOct 18 2009 - [sendmail] to utilize new SMTP auth.Oct 18 2009 - Safer [sendmail] code (no nulls)Oct 17 2009 - 'Make' updates for macOS XOct 11 2009 - CLI beta progress (will not be in 6.2.1)Sept27 2009 - Logging for Mail authSept27 2009 - Added EmailPrefs MailAuthValidAug 29 2009 - Added SMTP supportAug 25 2009 - Support for all return codes (ie. fixes 301 redirect bug)July11 2009 - Added Plain Auth for MailJuly11 2009 - Added base64 EmailPrefsJun 30 2009 - Added [serverport]Jun 30 2009 - Added [thisport]Jun 06 2009 - Mysql compatability update. (through 5.x)May 28 2009 - Universal binary for apache DSO module (may be in CICADA?)-----------------------------------------This new 6.2.1 build will likely include a few new fixes as well, yet to be finalized. As of now, we have alpha builds/installers running on both the latest Debian and RPM based linux machines. I decided to let the talk list know now because; 1.) We could still use your support in the form of donations for this build, and 2.) We will be taking a U.S. holiday and resuming again before mid-July to complete the builds (so I didn't want to leave anyone hanging).Again, we have decided to make this a 6.2.1 build and not officially charge, yet again, to existing 6.x users. However, we are working forfree right now, so 6.2.1 build donations would be hugely appreciated (and not forgotten!) ;-) Please send a note to:sales@webdna.us..if you would like to donate and include the method in which we should contact you. We'd appreciate any amount, but would suggest $50.Lastly, if any of you are running Ubuntu 12.04 or CentOS/RedHat 6.x or Fedora 17 development boxes, and you would like to beta test, feel free to send me an email. I will respond to the list of testers when we have the beta installer ready.Have a great weekend, and for those in the U.S., be careful! Very dry out there. ;-)Sincerely,Donovan-- Donovan BrookeWebDNA Software Corporationhttp://www.webdna.us**[Square Bracket Utopia]**
