I've been happy with CentOS 6.x, apache and WebDNA 6.2.Bill---------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed tothe mailing listOn Mon, Feb 25, 2013 at 1:39 PM, <vmedina@me2.apcn.net> wrote:OK I am ready to start loading an OS to host our corporate website on. I have a lot of code built on webdna 6.0 and after thinking through things I've decided to continue with the product just because it has done everything asked of me for the last 7 years and learning php, asp, java other than the basics doesn't interest me AT ALL! So my questions are:
1. What platform Linux (flavor) or Windoze.
2. What version of WedDNA (Server or FastCGI?) 6.2 or 7.x
I read a couple of articles that lead me to believe that windows development is at a stand still?
So I am leaning towards Linux - My hardware is nothing fancy - Dual-Core 8GB 1TB Hard drive. I have not used mysql in the past but possiblly in the future I will.
I want to start with the best bet foundation.
TIA
