use the [ConvertChars]Any Text[/ConvertChars]
you can also use it with a db in your global folder
[ConvertChars db=3D^convert.db]Any Text[/ConvertChars] like=20= that you creat your db for all your website.
It works on 6, I haven't tested on 7 ;-)

I have the following=20= proble:
I have to read data from WebDNA dbs whose data is in=20 isolatin1 ( i'ts mainly Spanish, so it's full of non-ascii = characters.)
I want to show it as UTF-8.
I tried doing a function to replace the=20 special characters.
[function name=3Disotoutf]
=09 [text]textoconvertir=3D[instring][/text]
= [text]textoconvertir=3D[grep=20 search=3D=EF=BF=BD&replace=3D=C3=A1][textoconvertir][/grep][/text]
= =09 [text]textoconvertir=3D[grep=20 search=3D=EF=BF=BD&replace=3D=C3=A9][textoconvertir][/grep][/text]
= etc, etc
=09 [return][textoconvertir][/return]
[/function]
The function does=20 not do the replacement because I, "obviously", have not written=20 correctly the iso characters to convert.
How can I do = this?
