There are only eight variables, replacing eight fields in the database. I am looking for an easy way to compare the variables from the form to the db. I would like to set a variable to 'no changes' if all the variables from the form are the same as the ones in the db, or I would like to set a variable to 'yes changes' if any one of the 8 variables are different from any of the corresponding fields in the .db I'm looking for a way to do this with out having eight nested [showif] tags. Thanks for any insight. sfb Stephen F Braun sbraun1@twcny.rr.com --001a1140fe1e3290da052e1aa09b Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
