Here's something new I just figured out and thought I would post it here for posterity.

I'm working on an email management system to monitor, read and resubmit emails to WebDNA for sending.

As you might already know, when you use the [sendmail] context it creates a file similar to 11788992021015952TTdone in the Global EMailFolder directory for the server or the sandbox.
When the email is sent it writes the success/failure status into the Global EMailLog/Email Log.txt file.

It's easy enough to copy or move 11788992021015952TTdone back to the EMailFolder and have it sent again.

However, if ever you would like to change the file name from 11788992021015952TTdone to something else, you need to make sure you keep the "done" at the end of the file name, otherwise the WebDNA emailler will ignore it.

Additionally, you need to make sure to keep the "TT" at the end of the file name or after sending the email will be deleted and never moved back to the EMailCompleted folder.

If you want to be creative you can also create archive directories within EMailCompleted and EMailProblem and create trigger management to archive the entire day into a single folder.=C2=A0 Since WebDNA sa= ves every email it's much easier to track down emails when they are nicely archived.
