My server still on 2006 mac 10.6.8 1,1 LOL! spent $9,000 on it back in the day! (2) 3GHZ quad cores 32GB ram and (4) 2TB RAID 0 drives! 1 month ago bought newer 12 core 2.66 with same ram and drives and pages seemed to take longer to load so the upgrade did not seem doable! Just got in Wednesday upgraded 2009 12/core 3.46! 128GB ram and 1TB SSD and same result! slower page loads on my simpler auto-glass sites! and minor gain http://scottsclassifieds.com/North_America/ aka classified sites! My drives 2TB 16MB cache Baracuda. Thinking 12/core 3.46/128 with OS on 1TB SSD and new (4) 4TB 256MB cache ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071WLPRHN/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&th=1) might be a better solution with server files on 16TB RAID 0 drives...?
