[WebDNA] smallest amount on code to convert 1 character?

texte = 1996 Hi! Cleaning up some code and looking for a smaller solution to a common = problem I have, namely killing off/converting just one character from a = text string. What I do now: [table name=3Dstriphyphen&fields=3Dfrom,to] -=09 [/table] [convertchars table=3Dstriphyphen][shiptozip][/convertchars] I=E2=80=99m sure there=E2=80=99s a better way, but both of my brain = cells just aren't coming up with it this morning. What do you guys use?
