texte = Can I get some guidance on the practical limits for WebCat handling large databases? I have a client who wants to do a CustomerID lookup from about a 100,000 record Customer database and if a match is found to return the customer info (name address etc) to the order entry form.If their marketing trial is successful they'd like to scale up the site and put up a Customer database that is in excess of 2 million records. I don't have any experience in dealing with databases with this number of records so I'm flying blind - I don't even have a feel for how large in Mbytes these databases will be. Could I get some input from the other users on the sizes (in records and Mbytes) and performances of their WebCat databases?
