texte = Greetings,We are evaluating WebCatalog/WebMerchant as the Bookstore for our Internet based learning site - LearningWeb (www.learning-web.com). LearningWeb is running on NT using IIS 3.0, Active Server Pages and Microsoft SQL to server courses to students. We collect personal/financial information and store it into SQL. Is there any way to grab the student's personal/financial info from SQL and send it to WebCatalog when that student goes to purchase an item from the bookstore (Webcatalog)? This would prevent the student from having to enter this information twice - once when enrolling for courses and once when buying from the bookstore. One other factor. We have an arrangement with a book distributor to sell their books via the bookstore. The current inventory is approximately 500,000 titles updated monthly from CD rom. What are the ramifications of this many records in WebCatalog? Thanks,Andy Meng__________________________________________________________________________ Andy Meng | Data Made Accessible | ameng@datamade.com | www.datamade.com Learn Anything | www.learning-web.com | Teach Anything Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
