texte = Hi,I'm trying to work up a presentation for a potential client with a verycomplicated catalog (and I'm new at all this, to boot!). I'm wondering ifit is possible in WebCatalog to combine snippets of SKUs to make a longerSKU.Here's an example:The OS550 series has three basic styles (OS551, OS552, and OS553); eachis availble in three different configurations of output (A, B, C) and fourquality of focus (1, 2, 3, 4). This makes for 36 combinations. The clientexpects the customer to order using concatenated numbers: OS552-C-3, forinstance; and all three parts of the SKU are required.I have been able to set up a search that gives option lists for each field, but I have not been able to pass the combination through to the shoppingcart as the actual SKU. Is there a way to do this by adding string values?I should say that this is a typical example from this catalog, but there isno real standardization; some products have two options, others may havefour. And then there are the accessories that are unique to certainproducts....Any help will be greatly appreciated!Michael Hunter________________________________________________________________________Express Communications Telephone: 203.838.2754149 Water St. Fax: 203.899.0495S.
