Webmerchant -> MacAuthorize ... please retry ?

numero = 14348
interpreted = N
texte = For whatever reason, MacAuthorize will return with no error message but no authorization in about 10% of credit card authorization tries submitted by Webmerchant. There is no declined or other error indicating that there is actually anything wrong with the submitted information and as a matter of fact a retry will go through in virtually all cases.We haven't been able to divine what it is that causes the glitch but suspect that it is a busy credit card processing network. Whatever the cause, the solution seems rather simple if the Webmerchant code allows it: Allow the Webmerchant user to specify x number of retries upon no error when no authorization is returnedso that Webmerchant just asks MacAuthorize to try again when the mysterious lack of error is returned with no authorization.Does this seem like a reasonable added capability for Webmerchant ? If it does it sure would reduce customer frustration and make the public relations of the Webcatalog/Webmerchant/Macauthorize merchant a lot less strenuous :-)Thanks, -Sven_____________________________________________________________________ Sven U.
