texte = I know how to do show if based on IP address, and since we changed ours today guess who is editing pages like crazy :)Can you do a showif based on the variable entered in a [protect] without doing a bunch of look-ups and so forth to the user.db. When a user enters a username and password, webcat drags it around all over the place because when it comes on the next [protect] it skips over it if you have the correct user name and password. Have been requested to allow only certain users to see certain options inside our intranet. Yes I could create another template. But it would be show much easier to base it on the group. Ken and 10,000 other people on this list know the answer already, probably :). Looking at the online reference for global tags I see [username] but looking for something that relates to groups doing a showif based on many names would be difficult to administer vs controlling who is in what group.TIA=============================================== Gary Richter PanaVise Products, Inc. 7540 Colbert Dr. Reno, Nevada 89511 Ph: 702.850.2900 Fx: 702.850.2929 Email: grichter@panavise.com http://www.panavise.com =============================================== Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
