I don't know about the text stuff, but I find it VERY useful for Managing thousands of images in various directories (and it's a measly $18.00) I just tested it, it opened a directory of 3800 images in 1Min45Sec on my 7500/200 (OK, it's a 2x200 but this program isn't MP aware) It doesn't seem to export a tab text file about the files, but perhaps you could write to the author, I wouldn't think It would be that hard. It does export HTML pages with image tags, I suppose that you could grep out the image tags, and format them into a tab text file for import to your database (probably applescript it too after you'd done it a few times!)Anyway, here's a link to find out more: http://www.amug.org/~sbaber/ Brian B.
