texte = Hiya folks,I mentioned the virtual postcard a week or two ago and got a good idea or two from the list so I'm just about finished. You can check it out at http://postcard.pagehouseinc.comIt will allow you to choose from 9 categories (9 pictures per category), set background colors and text colors and I'm thinking of letting users choose text face/style as well.So far, it works well. You visit, choose a category, and are moved to the details page. From detail.tpl you can enter all the info (email and such) choose colors, pictures, etc. Once finished you can preview the card. If you're satisfied, you can send the postcard, at which time the selections get written to postcard.db along with a 6-digit card ID number. When the Send Postcard button is clicked, it mails out a postcard notice with a URL on it to follow back to the server to reclaim the postcard. The problem I'm having is getting it to take the card_id number out of the URL, grab the info from the database and then fill out the view.tpl page (the claimed postcard). Here's the code for the email. [SendMail to=[email]&from=[from_email]&subject=You have a Postcard waiting!!] You have a Postcard waiting for you! To collect your postcard, click on the URL location below (if it's underlined) or copy the following link and paste it into your browser. http://postcard.pagehouseinc.com/view.tpl?command=showpage&db=postcard.db&card_ id=[card_id] [/SendMail]Is ?command=showpage the command I'm looking for? I tried messing around with ?command=search, but couldn't get it to work either. Suggestions?Thanks.Bill-- Bill Heissenbuttel PageHouse, Inc. bill@pagehouseinc.com Internet Presence Provider http://www.pagehouseinc.com (509) 892-1973 Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
