webmerchant redialing

texte = At first, when the newest WebMerchant re-attempted orders again if MacAuthorize didn't connect properly, I was thrilled with the new feature. I love it when the customer doesn't get problem notices for CC network problems. But we've had some instances recently where the CC bank times out always for particular orders. Usually this is a foreign bank. Often it is fraud (and expiration date or something doesn't match). But WebMerchant diligently keeps the file in the orders file and tries and tries again. If I don't stay on top of it, it can make MacAuthorize run out of memory (a new one to me tonight). I'd like to request that Webmerchant try the order file perhaps 3 times at most, maybe 10 mins. or so apart, then move it to a separate problem folder that doesn't send nasty notes to customers because of problems that we must resolve. I realize this probably isn't easy because counting tries, moving to separate folders depending on error message is alot more complicated than just trying again and again, but it doesn't hurt to ask!A happy medium between old WebMerchant and new webmerchant would be nice! Thanks for listening to my rantings!Sandy
