texte = I have setup web catalog with a catalog of 70,000 items (7MB) on my Windows NT server with PII-266MHz and 128MB RAM. Everything works great with that. Now I am trying to add a ItemNotes database to the same store that contains technical information about the 70,000 items. The ItemNotes database has over 1 MILLION records (85MB) and has drastically effected the performance of the entire site. All thought it works, it may take up to 3 minutes to display the ItemNote.tpl when pulling information off the large database. My question: Is another 128MB going to help, and if so how much??? Or are there other ways to improve proformance with database of this size???Thanks, Mark Bergkvist Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
