texte = What is the correct procedure for carrying a pre-assigmed Cart # forward from one non-command tmpl file to the next?My effort involves having several tmpl pages which don't involve commands. For instance, once a user makes a purchase and has an assigned Cart #, our client wants to allow that user to look at other general pages (all .tmpl files) for general information. If I try to use the structure - A HREF=connect.tmpl?cart=[cart]&header1=[header1] - when the user adds another item to his shopping cart a new Cart # is assigned. If I try to use the structure - A HREF=connect.tmpl$cart=[cart]&header1=[header1] - the user is told that this is an unrecognized command. Perhaps I am incorrectly assuming that the cart=[cart] tag has to be included in every link that the user may visit on the secured site. If the user can leave the shoppingcart.tmpl area and continue to browse the other .tmpl pages without the need for a cart=[cart] inclusion, then I can easily fix my problem. How do I need to handle this?John R. Benn, PetsForum Group On CompuServe - The Net's Best Thing For Pets & Animals Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
