texte = Brief overview -- I have watched them both obviously...The first set (basic series) comes from the approach of walking you step by step thru your first store -- there are a few techniques in here that you may not know, but in general it was an outline to get the first cookie cutter store up and running -- in fact 90% of the TSOK site itself is talked about etc in the first series -- maybe looking at that site and its functionality will tell you more than I can about what is in there...The Advanced series - This is more of a individual function reference and training -- the approach covers each of the features in WebCatalog 3.0 and some advanced techniques of using them as opposed to being focued on a particular problem. There is a description on the site for the advanced as well, but here is the outline that it talks about...Commerce Enhancements Discount Schemes - based on Quantities, Refferrer and anything else you like... Shipping Tables - UPS tables - use zip codes to get the zone and weights to give you accurate pricing Tax Tables - Complete zip code lookup and conditional range comparison for your city within your state Ad Code Tracking - both for statistics and finder's fee calculations Java Script management of content used in scripts with WebDNA Client Databases - assist with the data entry for your repeat shoppers Integration with Accounting systems and external DBs - data import and export using templates Updating your Database using merge techniques - perfect for remote hosted servers to keep down the upload time Advanced Remote Administration - product purchase options - like price override and order flow control Legacy data integration using SQL and complete tie into your current SQL processing systems Data Rendundancy - as your site's popularity grows setup multiple servers and still have remote administration Site and File remote management - How WebDNA can help with maintaining your content using just a web browser Server Task management using WebDNA like Spawn, Dos and Applescript contexts Groupware Solutions using WebDNA - Expand what you are using WebCatalog for!
