I have only watched about 1/3 of the 1st tape of the advancedseries. But what it talked about in the intro to the advanced series hasme drooling. Tons and tons of very advanced commerce stuff. Reference toenterprise solutions in talking to other platform databases. Remoteupdating schemes, with out moving a large data base, just moving the updatesection. A bunch on Intranet stuff, mailing lists archiving, Sales leadfollow up, personal and company wide calendars. And if they include thecode snipnets at a later date the value just went threw the roof. Actuallyseeing with my own eyes as Jay types and trying to explain to you on thetape in concept via the docs or via email to this list on the front endappears to be worth the price of addmission. I will report more next weekafter I get deeper into them. However keep in mind that I do no traditional web commerce stuff yet! Butwhat I do is look at the commerce stuff and then apply that concept to somerather strange things we do inside the PanaVise Intranet or other sites Iconsult on. On the 16th of next month I will be meeting face to face withmy largest customer to lay the plans out for them to use our webcatalogfront ended website for advanced data exchange to other systems inside ofPanaVise running on non-mac platforms. What I have seen so far in thetapes, I think will make the learning/development curve inside our companyextremely shorter and much less costly to develop.===============================================Gary Richter PanaVise Products, Inc. 7540 Colbert Dr. Reno, Nevada 89511 Ph: 702.850.2900 Fx: 702.850.2929 Email: grichter@panavise.com http://www.panavise.com===============================================
