What I've got is something like [Append ...]..&foo=[encrypt seed=bar][foobar][/encrypt]... and [Search ...][FoundItems][decrypt seed=bar][foo][/decrypt]...I have run into a situation where, in some cases, [decrypt]ing the value stored in the database results in what appears to be an encrypted string. Sometimes the beginning of the string is decrypted correctly but the end appears as gibberish, and sometimes the entire string is decrypted correctly. I haven't found any pattern to this.I'm using an 8-character seed, which is made entirely of lowercase alphabetic characters. Are there characters which may cause this type of behavior and should not be encrypted, or should not be used in the seed? This has been occuring under WebCat 2.1.3 Mac acgi.
