how does [break] work?

texte = Greetings, how does [break] work? It seems that if in a loop I issue thebreak command, it breaks out of the loop ONLY after going through theremainder of the loop conditions. I guess I expected it to immediately, atthe break point, get out of the loop.Am I correct?Thanks, Olin
