texte = Josh, You may want to take a look at ZipServe It sounds like they do exactly what you are looking for. They provide a zip code based search with proximity taken into consideration. So the closest store may not always be the one in your zip code. This is a summary of what they provide: ---------------------------------------DC&R ZipServeTM ZipServe is DC&R's ZIP code locator service. Near the end of Q4 1998, we will be releasing a commercial version of this software for MacOS web servers and desktop applications. We also have a version that runs the CGI in PERL for UNIX and NT based web servers. We maintain a ZIP code database and a high performance CGI that you can link to your web site to let your web visitors find the closest dealer or member locations in your database by entering their ZIP code. You can configure a DNS entry to point ZIP.yourdomain.com to our server here, so your users simply see a seemless link from your main site to our ZipServe server. Or, when it is released, you can license our software for use on your own server.
