texte = This problem has occurred a few times. The browser displays a screen saying that the serial number of webcatalog was already in use. There was a field to enter a new serial number or go into developer mode. There is only one copy of webcatalog on the server with its appropriate serial number. When this problem occurs I usually have to restart the server. It seems to occur when I am in admin mode and another acgi on the server is called. The server is running Webstar. It has two other acgi files in the cgi-bin. Formhandler.acgi, a Macperl file, and Cumulus.acgi, which is part of photo archive software. I noticed this behavior before I loaded Cumulus, so I'm more suspicious of Macperl. Can a form that calls another .acgi cause webcatalog to behave in this manner?
