texte = One way to accomplish this with WebCat does require a little knowledge of postscript and the use of Acrobat Distiller. We do this using a program developed internally using C on a unix box. In a nutshell you create a form in PageMaker, Quark, Word, etc and save to a postscript file (postscript is just text). In the areas you want filled out by Webcat insert your [tags] in the postscript file. Using a combination of include and writefile you would create a new postscript file with the of merged fields (kinda like a mail merge.) Then have WebCat move the file to a Acrobat Distiller watched folder. It will create a pdf file. Then use WebCat to move it to the location you need for download.Remember, this is a simplified explanation of how it could be done. But it definitely is doable.Mark>>There are several ways to do this, but not yet directly from webcat. One way>>is to download the Acrobat SDK though this is the hardest solution.
