formula.db problem

Can anyone tell me why this formula in my formula.db isn't working?

shipCost  [lookup db=fed-x.db&lookInField=Lbs&value=[format
.0f][search
db=main2.txt&eqSKUdata=[sku]][founditems][Weight][/founditems][/search][/for

mat]&returnField=11&notFound=nope]

However this one DOES work:
shipCost  [lookup db=fed-x.db&lookInField=Lbs&value=[format
.0f][search
db=main2.txt&eqSKUdata=796819][founditems][Weight][/founditems][/search][/fo

rmat]&returnField=11&notFound=nope]

The only difference is that I am hardcoding the sku in in
eqSKUdata=796819
vs eqSKUdata=[sku]

I know the sku is getting passed into the formula.db because my price
formula works:
price [lookup
db=Main2.txt&lookInField=sku&value=[sku]&returnField=RetailPrice]
That has the [sku] varible in it!

What's the deal?
Thanks!
Brant
