texte = I will need to be able to send an email to everyone, or sometimes a subset of email addreesses in one of my databases.I haven't tried this yet, but I am thinking I could do a search to get the total number of records in the database, or subset I want, then using a loop, include a sendmail context within the loop and continue to loop until the numfound I got from the first search is reached. Does this make sense? Or am I going overboard?I do have a listserver, but the deal is by listing yourself in this database you agree to get a monthly email (not advertising, but a site update) The only way for people to remove themselves from the mailing list is to remove themselves from the database. Whcih makes manageing the seperate listserver more dificult (although I could send an unsubscribe message...)I would create a 'messaging' administrative page that only I can access to send these messages. It looks like I could also create a trigger to send an automatic, regularly scheduled email as well. Does this seem to be to right way to head to accomplish this? The overall question is do you think this is better to handle from within WebCat or should I continue to send subscribe and unsubscribe messages to my listserver? Thanks!
