Suggest you move to at least 3.04 which I found to more stable but didn't introduce alias and other bugs (as far as I know). I've moved up and down through various revs and settled on this until I hear that the newly introduced beta bugs have been squashed in b11.Check the best archives and readme files for more info, but hear's a clue from the b11 readme I posted earlier: --------- WebCatalog 3.0.5b11 MacOS mini-beta This version of WebCatalog.acgi and WebCatalog plugin solves a few problems recently brought up on the talk list and elsewhere. If you find problems with this release, please post them to the WebCatalog-Beta talk list. Fixes include:* Newly-introduced 'CyberCash not responding' solved * Newly-introduced 'triggers not running' solved * Alias path resolving does not bomb when using secure files * Newly-introduced quote-comma database false error message * 11th hour triggers should be solved * Modified plugin MIME headers to return standard set per StarNine's specs * [FoundItems] loop does not return error if startAt is higher than number of found items * Various CyberCash decryption bugs ---------Also suggest you subscribe to the beta list. It'll help you glean the current status of things.---Begin rant on why you even have to ask these questions---- Wouldn't it'd have been nice to know in advance that this could be causing or contributing to your problems? Again, without PCS informing its users of known problems and providing us with its recommendation of which rev of software we should be running, we are all left to discover the same problems repeatedly. I can only imagine how many hours of users' time has been wasted trying to work around the same problems that others have experienced. One frustrating aspect of all this is that PCS is usually aware of the issues but doesn't bother to communicate this information to its user base in any sort of effective fashion. Even more frustrating is sometimes a fix is already available but again, how would you know?PSC's reliance on the generosity of its users and the list archives they generate are a sad substitute for properly keeping its users informed of known issues and suggested fixes/workarounds.----end rant----Marty Schmid------------------------------------------------------------- Brought to you by CommuniGate Pro - The Buzz Word Compliant Messaging Server.
